First and Last Day of School

I just dropped Jaye off for her last day of "school" for the year. She has grown so much. It's incredible. Jaye and I on her first day of Mother's Day Out last September. Such a little baby. What have we been up to lately? I definitely owe a family post, so here goes! Last Saturday, after breakfast with Pops, we walked down to the park by Pops' house. The other morning I was reading some blogs and came upon Kim's fingerpainted canvas art and was instantly inspired and motivated. I thought, "I've pinned something like that several times on Pinterest, now it's time to actually make it. And I have all the supplies on hand. On Sunday, Jaye had her first Easter egg hunt and she loved it! Here's how it all went down. My family came over after church with Kentucky Fried Chicken, a tradition from when I was growing up. We used to always get KFC and go to a park for an Easter egg hunt.
