Gettin’ My Fix: A Stitch Fix Review

I have a new addiction (second only to Bubble Tea) and it’s called Stitch Fix. Read the rest of this Stitch Fix review to see why I love it so much and how you can get hooked up, too.

Stitch Fix is a personal styling service through the mail! Stitch Fix is awesomeness in a box. You fill out your size and a detailed style profile online. Then schedule a fix. A personal stylist will pore over your profile and send you a beautiful box with 5 different clothing items. Once the box arrives, you text your BFF right away. Then you try them all on. Then you text pictures to said BFF.

That’s where these pictures came from. This is what I got in my latest Stitch Fix box. It was my 3rd Fix and the first one where I kept all 5 items! When I ordered the Fix, I asked for spring/summer dresses. I also requested a really cute but basic black cardigan. I love that you can request certain things. This was the first time I’d tried that, and it was great!

I wore this dress the weekend after I got it out to a super fancy dinner at Oak with Chris and Laura. I love that it can be dressed up or dressed down. Stitch Fix has definitely helped me get out of my SAHM sweatpants rut. The stylists have been great at picking items that I can wear while chasing Jaye around, but still look like a grown-up. :-)

I haven’t actually worn this tank yet, because it’s still too chilly. But I love the detailing on it. I think it will work great when I get a job under a suit jacket or just over jean shorts this summer. When I signed up for Stitch Fix, I wrote in my profile that my tummy area is not my favorite, and the stylists have been awesome at sending really flattering shirts (even though this is not the most flattering picture).

I bet you’re probably thinking, “What’s the catch?” Well, there really isn’t one. You pay a $20 styling fee up front when the Fix is shipped. But then that fee applies toward anything you purchase from the box. Shipping is free both ways and Stitch Fix even provides a pre-paid envelope for shipping back anything you decide not to keep. Plus, there’s a good discount if you keep all 5 items. You can schedule a Fix as often or rarely as you like, it doesn’t have to be once a month like a lot of those “box” deals.

And if you sign up through my link, you can help me keep my addiction going. Please, please! I need some cute shirts for summer. So what are you waiting for? Sign up here.
