As of Wednesday evening, I’d completed my second year of law school! Whew. And hooray!
It’s felt so good to be done and stop thinking about school for a moment. I’ve been enjoying focusing more on home projects and of course, the big pregnancy project.
This summer, I’ll be working up to 20 hours a week total for two different jobs. I’m continuing to clerk for the bankruptcy judge I worked with this semester. I will also volunteering as a law clerk with a solo practitioner doing business law. So far both are interesting and useful work.
My first two days of summer were filled with:
eating ice cream for dinner,
writing long lists of my summer goals and plans,
posting these lists only to discover that the post didn’t work,
a lovely dinner out at Sanctuary in downtown Minneapolis (I had Texas Red Drum fish. It was tasty.),
our last Guthrie play of the year with Laura and Chris (We saw Arsenic and Old Lace),
breakfast at Victor’s 1959 Cafe with Kelsey and Katie,
a midwife and chiropractor appointment,
and tonight we’re going to dinner at Il Gatto, one of my favorite Italian restaurants, for free,
and then playing Settlers with Chris, Laura, Joe, and Kristin.
